Omarion born as Omari Ishmael Grandberry was born November 12,1984 in Inglewood,California.Omarion is now an hot RnB singer doing real big things.Omarion was in a group called B2K the group was 1st called Y2K but it was changed.Before the whole music thing little that people know Omarion was acting(commercials).Omarion has been dancing and singing since the age of 5.Omarion got in the group B2K by his uncle by marriage(Chris Stokes) Chris was doing garage auditions for a 4 member group Omarion was the last to join the group.Omarion was friends with Lil Fizz J Boog & Raz-B before they became a group.B2K was the hottest band out in the yrs. 2002 & 2003,but unfortunately B2K had broken up in the year of 2004 just after they shot their movie You Got Served.Omarion one day decided to go solo because he realized that he had some dying hard Omarion fans out there so he did his thang for his fans and his self in general. Omarion's 1st album O went platnium and then started doing movies and shows such as Fat Albert The Proud Family Movie One On One The Bernie Mac Show & Cuts.Omarion was doing real big things and still is.Omarion was the headliner of the Scream Tour 5 of 2006.He has his sophmore album entitled "21" which hit the #1 spot in its 1st week being called the 1st cd to hit the #1 spot of 2007.Omarion is an platnium selling artists doing major things O and his best friend Bow Wow have been in the studio for the past few months recording their new album due out December 11. Omarion and Bow Wow have both stated that this is a different project that they have done in their highly successful music careers. The first single off their new album is "Girlfriend", a video will premier late October. The follow-up single "Hey Baby" will be released in late November.
Omarion has been nominated for alot grammy's as well,O has won BET's Viewer's Choice in 2005 and best Inspiring Act of 2007 and I'm sure he has more awards to recieve.
